Evidence snapshot

The evidence at a glance

A quick look at the strain, dose, format, and formula choices behind the daily scoop.

01Regulatory status

EU-authorised probiotic strain

Bacillus velezensis C-3102 is authorised in the EU as a gut flora stabiliser for dogs.

02Canine research

Backed by canine studies

The primary probiotic strain in GUT is backed by published canine studies on stool quality, gut flora, and digestive markers.

03Dose transparency

5.5B CFU per 2g dose

CFU means colony-forming units, the standard way live probiotics are counted. GUT lists the CFU per 2g dose so you can see what your dog gets.

04Formula architecture

Probiotics, prebiotics, postbiotics

GUT combines live probiotic strains, prebiotic fibers that feed beneficial gut bacteria, and stable postbiotic ingredients for daily gut support.

05Ingredient standard

No unnecessary ingredients

No added sugars, artificial preservatives, or colors. Every ingredient has a defined role in the formula.

06Production

Made in EU

Produced in Belgium as a complementary feed for daily gut support.

The gut system

Why the gut comes first

Your dog’s gut does more than break down food. It hosts the microbiome, supports normal stool, and is closely connected to immune function. For a daily supplement, that makes the gut the logical place to start.

Gut
Digestion Microbiome Immune function
01

Normal digestion

Probiotics and fibers selected to support normal digestion and normal stool.

02

Microbiome support

Prebiotic fibers feed beneficial gut bacteria and support the gut microbiome.

03

Immune connection

Postbiotics and zinc support normal immune function as part of the daily formula.

Format matters

Built as a powder for a reason

Powder wasn't an aesthetic choice. It keeps the formula dry, supports probiotic stability, and makes weight-adjusted dosing possible without turning the supplement into a treat.

01

Low moisture matters

Live probiotics need the right conditions to stay viable. A dry powder format is better suited to probiotic stability than a soft chew with higher moisture content.

02

Dosed by weight

A Chihuahua and a Labrador don't need the same amount. GUT is dosed by body weight, from half a scoop to two scoops a day.

03

No treat-format baggage

Chews need structure, texture, and palatability ingredients to exist as chews. GUT doesn't. The format lets the formula stay focused on the daily gut-support routine.

A daily gut ritual for the dogs who are family.

Formula transparency

The label should tell you what you're giving.

With probiotics, the details matter. GUT names the strain, publishes the CFU count per 2g dose, and explains what every ingredient is there to do.

  • 01
    Strain identity

Bacillus velezensis C-3102 is named in full, because "probiotic" alone is not enough.

  • 02
    CFU count

Each 2g dose contains 1.5B CFU of C-3102 and 4B CFU of Enterococcus lactis.

  • 03
    Ingredient purpose

Each ingredient has a defined role in the formula, from probiotics and fibers to postbiotics, minerals, and amino acids.

Canine studies

The dog studies behind the strain.

GUT uses Bacillus velezensis C-3102, a probiotic strain with multiple published canine studies behind it. Below are selected studies on that strain. They support the science behind the formula, but they are not a promise that every dog will respond the same way.

The bigger picture

The gut changes with the dog.

A dog's microbiome is not fixed. It shifts with age, diet, environment, and routine. The Dog Aging Project, with more than 50,000 enrolled dogs, is helping map how gut bacteria relate to biological age.

That does not make GUT an aging product. It means the gut is worth paying attention to early, before it becomes something you only think about when there is a problem.
