We chose powder
Most dog supplements are chews. To hold a chew together you need glycerin, maltodextrin, soy lecithin, preservatives. The actual probiotics end up as a fraction of what's inside.
There's a second problem. The International Probiotics Association notes that low-moisture formats support probiotic stability better than high-moisture ones. The format designed for convenience is working against the science.
We chose powder because the format is the science. Zero inactive ingredients. Every gram has a job.
